The GoatX Tour Ruffey Lake Park and Canning St Reserve
Two days of long awaited All Terrain Boarding bliss. The Goat X crew's pilgrimage came to old Melbourne town and what ensued was an awesome weekend of hardcore free styling, carving and chilling. The first day of the tour was at Ruffey's Lake Park which was new terrain for me and was a really nice ride. Plenty of interest from onlookers and fellow park users demonstrated just how young the sport is and how we have just started to get the ball rolling. After a few demo rides and board testing runs the whole crew went for a bit of a walk/ride which was choice, plenty of crazy carving and jumping. Not to mention me almost running over some chick and ripping most the skin off of my guts and chest. AWESOME DAY! Day 2 of the tour was my
personal favourite simply because it was pretty much on my home turf and was
easier to get to. Lots of sick carving on the demo outbacks, I would seriously
recommend these beasts. Unfortunately the digi cam didnt work but there will
still be plenty of pictures up soon. Canning Street was a top ride. I was also
pictured in the front page of the local paper riding my Kiwi with John Morton,
thanks for setting that up mate. Thanks to
GOAT X and AUSTMTB.ORG
for a filthy weekend lets hope its the first of many to come.
